IUpdateGlobalPropertySettings seems to flood the database

description

We've been using PTB2 for a while now and it seems quite solid. However there is one piece that puzzles me.
We have specified a MainEditorGlobalSettings and the code is just like the example for the LimitedEditorGlobalSettings in the "PageTypeBuilder 2 preview 1"-blog post, except for the number of buttons we use.

We've now noticed that our database is growing insanely fast, and the table in question is the tblBigTableReference.

The crook is the property named Buttons, which occrus on about 7.7 million rows (yes, millions), and it keeps growing at about 50k per active hour.

We haven't limited this to PTB, but it seems to be. The "StringValue" in the table for the "PropertyName" buttons are equal to the buttons used in the editor, for example: italic, bold, undo, redo, link, image, etc.

We haven't really figured out what the cause of the updates are, whether it's when browsing the edit mode, or only after a build. Right now it seems to be both (or neither).

EDIT: The updates occur after a build.

I think I managed to reproduce this and it will be fixed in the next version.

Hi Joel!

I have the same issue in my solution and I want to clean up tblBigTableReference. It now hold a nice 4,8 GB and 6.6 millions rows..
Do you have any idea on how to clean up this table?

Just a follow up: The table gains 52 new rows each time I build an access the site (Application start). Navigating on the site does not create new row.
